Helping leaders, organizations, and communities rethink how they work, lead, build, and transform through African-centered psychology, workforce development, organizational strategy, and institution-building.
I will be presenting my paper, Illuminating Work and Enterprise: An African-Centered I/O Psychology Framework, at the 57th Annual International Convention of the Association of Black Psychologists.
This presentation explores how African-centered psychology can expand the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology beyond corporate performance models and toward work, enterprise, leadership, and institution-building as essential dimensions of Black liberation.
Modern organizational psychology often focuses on productivity, selection, performance, and workplace behavior. Those areas matter, but they are not enough.
For African-centered communities, work must also be understood through the lens of dignity, discipline, cultural memory, economic survival, leadership responsibility, and collective liberation.
My work brings together organizational psychology, workforce development, leadership training, and cultural systems thinking to help individuals and institutions build with greater clarity, structure, and purpose.
Psychology must not only help us heal. It must also help us build.
